findhelp.org, by Aunt Bertha - The Social Care Networkwww.findhelp.org
Find food assistance, help paying bills, and other free/reduced cost programs in your zip code, including new programs for the COVID-19 pandemic. It's not only for food, though--it lists resources for housing, goods, transportation, health, money, care, education, work, and legal.
The My Baby & Me program is a federal Healthy Start program, provided by Columbus Public Health. Our main goal is to assist women to have a healthy pregnancy and healthy baby. We can serve pregnant women, fathers of children under 18 months old, and the family until the infant turns 18 months old. The program can provide a free Pack 'N Play plus car seat. Our program is voluntary and clients can opt out at any time. We must have at least a monthly contact with the mother or caregiver. We assist with resources and information, health education, and case management. We also sometimes have limited supplies we can use to assist families. We have nurses, social workers, and outreach workers available to serve clients. If you are interested please call 614-725-2229 to enroll. Please leave a voice mail if needed and we will call you back to enroll.

a wonderful local Columbus outreach program called Little Baby Bellies & Bum Outreach. This is a supplemental service for babies who need formula, diapers and wipes. There is no documentation or anything needed. You just simply contact the group and one of us will try to get you what you need. There is a variety of different formulas as well as diapers in stock. Our goal is to make sure every baby has a full tummy. As a reminder if you or someone you know is looking to donate diapers, wipes or non expired formula please send us a message. We definitely couldn't continue to do this without our wonderful donors. If you or someone you know needs assistance please don't hesitate

It also allows us to be efficient and to utilize our Partner's expertise to distribute to families and babies in need.

I have access to open beds for detox, residential treatment, and outpatient care. Transportation can be provided if that is what is hindering you from getting there. I can pick you up and sit with you during admission
The time is now to make a change and give yourself the opportunity for a new life and future.
Don't stay stuck in the miserable cycle of addiction....break your chains today !

Refuge Ministries
They also have a Facebook page; just search “The Refuge Ministries”. I have reached out to several of my friends that volunteer there and asked if I could share their personal contact information with you. The women’s residential program is not quite open yet. I’m not sure of the date, but it is soon. Monday there is a Men’s Open Orientation at 10am. It’s held at the Veritas West Church (the old UALC site) at 12 S. Terrace Ave. on the Hilltop. They hold this every Monday at 3:30PM. The website explains the residential program. If after hearing the orientation talk and a man says he’s interested, interview begins at 11:30am that same day to determine if he’s serious. The man should come prepared to enter treatment immediately. The website has a list of things he should bring with him to the interview. Please reach out to me with any questions. This treatment ministry has dramatically changed the lives of many people. Gary Rutherford 614-296-0622 or 614-515-2704

Those in need of an Ohio Identification Card can receive a voucher from Stone Village Church only on Tuesday morning at 8:30 am. Here is what is needed:
State ID Ministry
Those in need of an Ohio Identification Card can receive a voucher from Stone Village Church on Tuesday morning at 8:30 am. Please present your voucher from your social worker to get an ID>
Our voucher covers the cost of an Ohio identification card. The voucher does not cover the cost of an Ohio driver's license, nor can the voucher be used towards a driver's license.
Those in need must have two certified forms of identification (photocopies are not certified documents) in order to secure a voucher for their state ID.
The Primary Document must have a person's date of birth. These documents include: a birth certificate, passport, naturalization or citizenship documentation, a certified document from the courthouse, a state ID or driver’s license not expired beyond six months and military identification.
The Secondary Document must have a person's social security number. These documents include: a social security card, a social security print out, a certified court document, a school transcript, Medicare card, w-2 form, 1099 form, and military discharge documents.
If an individual is not born in the state of Ohio, they MUST have a certified copy of their out of state birth certificate. Ohio will not issue an Ohio ID without the out of state birth certificate.
An offender release card (green card) covers all documents the state requires to issue a state ID.
Finally, a person cannot have a state ID and a driver’s license simultaneously in the state of Ohio. So, if a person currently has driving privileges, utilizes Stone Village's ID ministry, they will be driving illegally.
If you have questions about acceptable certified forms, please visit the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles.
If you have questions, please contact Pastor John.
