Julia Jewell purses of loveTeresa Lauderdale contacted God's Hygiene Help Center because she learned that we give out purses packed with hygiene items. Tammy had referred Virginia to Choices and Teresa is her caseworker! She has been doing outreaches for nine years and planning one for women on the streets. Our GHHC volunteers were so glad to meet and help Teresa by giving her all 18 Purses of Love we had available. Pastor Teresa Lauderdale shared "Fruit of the Spirit Ministries' outreach is unlike any other ministry as we go out into the community to provide a helping hand to people who need it most. I cannot tell you how many times I have been surprised, even to tears, by the love and support that comes from the community, but the help we received from GHHC was provided in an astonishing manner. They took their time to consider the needs of every woman and their desire to feel like a woman despite the hard times they are experiencing. GHHC provided Purses of Love and hygiene items for our ministry's outreach. Their donation enabled us to provide a purse filled with hygiene to women who are in need. Their faces showed great gratitude as many of them were filled with tears as they received their Purses of Love. Thank you GHHC for your donation and partnership with Fruit of The Spirit Ministries." Teresa is not only the Founder, she is also a licensed and ordained Pastor of Fruit of the Spirit Ministries and has these other credentials: Masters of Arts Degree in Alcohol Drug Counseling, Bachelors in Business Administration, Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, Supportive Housing and Peer Support Specialist Supervisor for National Church Residences. On the ministry website it states Evangelism/Outreach Team - Our Evangelism/Outreach Team carries the Good News of the gospel of Jesus Christ to the streets and homeless shelters. They aim to reach those who have fallen on hard times and those who are less likely to come to the church building. They operate a food pantry during select hours. They are dedicated to the words: He said to them, Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Mark 16:15 and Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. bible education![]() Pam Johnston, Director, RESET INC. shares their mission on their website: Resetting today's youth with hope and trust in Jesus! Introduce a Biblical-based curriculum for public school students at the elementary, middle and high school levels in Franklin and Delaware counties of Ohio. Change the culture in the public schools in order to build trust in the community, impact student character and develop students' moral compass. Restore Biblical truth and instill hope for the children who are our future. Implement a pilot program of RESET in at least one school by the Fall of 2018. Thank you to Stephanie Jackson who brought in kind donations to our Help Center on Tuesday. Tammy has worked with Stephanie for several years in the Linden community. May the Lord pour out a fresh anointing on your life today! May He revive your heart, refresh your soul, and replenish your storehouses. May He fill you to overflowing until you spill over and bless those around you. May He heal the deep places in your soul. May He reveal where you’re vulnerable to the enemy’s schemes. And may He help you shore up your life so that you can stand strong in the stormy seasons. He is with you. He is for you. Open your hands and receive what He has for to you today. And may His joy put a spring in your step! Exodus 33:14 ESV ~ And he said, “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”
