GHHC New Office and Warehouse Space ![]() GHHC is growing and expanding very quickly, thanks to our friends and supporters!! We have outgrown our 600 square foot warehouse space on Oakland Park Avenue. After much prayer and board approval, we started looking for a larger warehouse space. God answered our prayers with an amazing space!!! We have signed the lease and will have our new office and small warehouse space on the Advanced Business Center on March 1, 2022. The space is 2400 square feet and exactly what we need currently. It is near Roberts Road and 270 and is about 20 minutes away from each of our help centers. God knew exactly what we needed, and He provided! A huge THANK YOU to Robin Lorms for working to find our space and negotiating our lease and to Nancy Gillette, our board chairperson, for reviewing and signing the lease. This is truly a gift from God as it is the perfect size and location for our growth needs. PRAISE and THANKS to God for His continued mighty blessings on GHHC! We are looking for gently used office furniture to set up our new office space. Can you help? Email Terry Starr at executivedirector@godshygiene.org THANK YOU!! Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 1 Peter 1:3 Getting our Office and Warehouse Space Ready We are so grateful to Jim Gericke and Paul Sparks for helping us to have new carpeting for our office space. The old carpet was extremely dirty and worn and their kind, generous hearts provided exactly what we needed for our new space. We will begin moving into our space the week of March 1. Please pray for GHHC as we grow and expand. God is blessing us with SO many opportunities to grow, serve more neighbors in need and partner with area churches who are interested in becoming donation sites and supporters. Gospel of Mark Project: Jesus, God’s Servant![]() During the recent holiday season, Emerson Fleming, UALC member and 5th grader at Worthington Christian Elementary School, completed a service project for God’s Hygiene Help Center. Emerson’s class was studying the Gospel of Mark and learning about how Jesus came to earth to be a servant, showing us how to live a life that serves others. The students were tasked with completing a service project within the community and then presenting their project at school. Being familiar with GHHC and Tammy’s story through church, Emerson easily chose GHHC for her service project, specifically selecting Purses of Love. Emerson collected donated purses from friends and family members during the project and filled them with hygiene products to be donated for women in need. For her presentation in class, Emerson not only described her completed project for Purses of Love, she also introduced God’s Hygiene Help Center and its mission to her classmates by showing GHHC’s video in class. It was her wish that Tammy’s story about hygiene, dignity, and hope would especially hit home with her 5th grade classmates. Emerson and her family look forward to serving God’s Hygiene Help Center again in the future. “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness” (Jeremiah 31:3, NIV). ghhc and festa partner together![]() Erin Arnett, Donor Relations Coordinator of Festa, emailed us: Hi team! I have a family I am helping to assist through our work here at Festa. The school social worker reached out and connected us. The list of needs is high, but they mentioned that they do not have hygiene items or even bath towels. Could you assist this family with these items? It is a single mother with 7 dependents living with her. Ages 6-20. Boys and girls. Please let me know the best way to get the ball rolling and THANK you for all the love you pour into our community! Also, please note the family speaks Spanish (the older children are “okay” with English but not great.) Thank you! Tammy and the volunteers thought yes we can help them. So right before closing the Help Center, we sprung into action and packed a bag of basic hygiene and Diane picked up a basket of towels from Tammy. We were able to deliver to the Festa office that afternoon so the family did not need to wait any longer for basic needs. 13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
