ghhc helps east palestine
Some men from St. Vincent DePaul, Immaculate Conception Church, and Knights of Columbus asked to borrow God's Hygiene cargo van. They drove the van to East Palestine, Ohio, to deliver food, water and hygiene products to Our Lady of Lourdes Church. We included cases of hand sanitizer just donated to God's Hygiene the week before.
The hospital wipes and hand sanitizer were opened and used right away. Some small business owners took the wipes to clean their stores in hopes of opening soon without the smell on their products, furniture, show cases and clothing. One small clothing store has to wash every piece of clothing inside and sell at a discount. She was happy to have free detergent.
The real command center is God and His Church. The church members were very excited and relieved to have us. Folks from town came over to meet with us, pray and pick up needed items. Some of them then took us over to the crash site, as close as we were allowed. This small town was struggling before this event. Now it's very difficult for the small businesses to survive.
NO one trusts the tap water. May Christ bring healing, health and prosperity back to this region.
Jim Andracki, GHHC Board member
God's Hygiene received not only a wonderful thank you note from the men, but also a check for mileage and they filled up the gas tank! What a blessing! We were glad to be part of their mission and hope we can partner together again to help those in need.
Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind, for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things .Psalm 107:8-9
ghhc helps fire victim
Tammy saw lots of smoke in the sky coming from a street or two away in her Linden neighborhood. She told Freddie, "Call 911. A neighbors property is on fire!" It turned out to be a good friend of our volunteer Mike Harmon. No one was hurt by the fire but the renter, Dawn Chapman, got a phone call to come home to her shed full of valuable tools had burned. Sadly she had not purchased renter's insurance.
Tammy is always helping her neighbors and came up with the idea for a fundraising dinner. Diane was the first customer for the delicious pulled pork sandwich.
Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord himself, is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation.” Isaiah 12:2
in kind donations
Thank you to the Life Group at Peace United Methodist in Pickerington. Judy was so impressed meeting Tammy the previous summer at their VBS. They invited Tammy, Kathryn Farrar and Diane to join them for dinner and to hear Tammy share her story and about the projects at God's Hygiene Help Center. They shared a full van full of toilet paper, detergent, bleach, liquid cleaner and underwear to be given for our School Dignity Boxes. Great timing because the next morning we packed up items for Linden McKinley STEM and The Shepard School. Thank you to our new friends at Peace.
Brenda Andracki, our Inventory Coordinator, said another thank you. When she saw and counted all the in kind donations, it saved her one shopping trip!
What a wonderful evening for our Life Group to spend time with Tammy, Kathryn and Diane and learn about God’s Hygiene. We are so touched with Tammy’s story and how God led her to begin this ministry. We were amazed to learn how far reaching God’ Hygiene ministry reaches, the many lives it touches, and the blessings it brings to countless lives. We are honored to be a part of this ministry. May God watch over all of you and may God’s Hygiene continue to grow and serve others.

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Philippians 4:4-6

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) and find out what pleases the Lord. Ephesians 5:8-10
our great volunteer greeter
We want to give special recognition to our amazing greeter Phil Francia. He always has a smile on his face, patiently greets all of our clients, gets their ID's, and returns with a client order form on a clipboard.
Tammy has known Phil for several years and one day when we were short staffed, she called him to come volunteer. Phil has been showing up every day since! He even recently was hired by a restaurant at Easton. But he let them know he had to still serve at God's Hygiene every Tuesday and Thursday until 1 pm.
In the photo he is holding one of the buckets we now give our clients instead of a bag. They appreciate having an extra trash can or cleaning bucket. We thank our area Krogers for donating their flower buckets to God's Hygiene.
Thank you Phil for being one of our trusty Linden Angels!
GOD STORIES AND thank you'S
Diane visited another church with her daughter and granddaughters. On the wall were index cards with how God had worked in people's lives. So on March 16 we began asking our clients if they had a God Story to share.
Trina Oates will give the message at our Prayer Gathering. Several years ago we would hold this monthly event for neighbors living in the community. We volunteers at God's Hygiene want to return to our original mission which is to share the compassion and love of Jesus with others. Attendees will be given a small prayer journal, pen, Scripture bookmark and offered a Bible. We are planning to rotate speakers from Linden area churches each month. We plan to focus on offering hope through prayer to those in need.
13 Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise. 14 Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. James 5:13-16
