we love our caring police officers![]() We have the most utmost respect for our Columbus police officers, especially our liaison Officer Alesia Zacher. Late one afternoon Tammy received a phone call from the officer. "Come with me. A "John" has just dumped a "working girl" out of his car on Hudson. She is dying in the arms of her friend. Tammy remembered the abuse and pain of her former life and reached out to "Sarah" age 42 to share her testimony, counsel her and try to convince her that she too can get a better life. Book bags were given to the kids who saw a shooting from their home while they were doing homework. The young person ran, while shot, through their yard and died across the street from their home. The kids saw all of the turmoil, and yelling and screaming, the police outside, taping off the scene, guarding their back yard. Officer Alesia as able to return to the neighborhood to show love and caring to the kids and mother. From donations of Carol Thacker, GHHC also has been able to give to Officer Zacher and Officer Jim Poole: 2 cases of adult diapers, 200 Blessing Bags for the streets, 10 blankets, 20 pairs of gloves, few hats, scarves, some socks, school supplies of 4 backpacks and 8 notebooks. One of our men helping with remodeling upstairs shared today how much it meant to him when an officer helped his son and gave these items to his grandkids. We just wish everyone in Columbus could hear about the caring that our police officers show to members of the community. kits of kindnessODW Logisticswww.odwlogistics.com held a hygiene drive supporting local charities. There is a great need for personal hygiene products in pantries and programs within our communities. Hygiene products are among the most requested items, but are not donated as often as food or household goods. In concert with their customer partners, ODW Logistics; philanthropy team, the Reach Out Rangers, launched an initiative: "Kits of Kindness." They assembled "kits" where several personal hygiene items are placed in a bag, then boxed and delivered to local charitable organizations for individuals and families in need. Their goal was to build at least 2,000 kits, which will be distributed in Central Ohio and Southern California. God's Hygiene was blessed to receive 500 of those Kits of Kindness. Officer Alesia Zacher was the first to receive 20 Kits of Kindness for her wellness checks. Evangelist Priscilla McCullough picked up 20 Kits of Kindness for members of New Hope Global Community Church in Linden. The managers of the community centers which we partner with each picked up 100 Kits of Kindness: Barack, Douglas and Far East Side to distribute to their families during October for Halloween and November for Thanksgiving. The rest of the kits will be distributed from God's Hygiene Help Center on Oakland Park. embark and kindway

It's ok not to understand everything. Calm down. Don't try to work everything out. I will make the right things happen. Tammy, don't worry, you will get heat for the upstairs at the warehouse." That day we got heat!
A woman had reached out crying to Tammy 4 times. She lived in a domestic abuse situation and appealed to Tammy to call the police. Instead Tammy called CHOICES and just handed the phone to the woman. That's another reason Tammy opened up God's Hygiene Help Center--to share resources and hope with others. "I long for you to trust Me enough to be fully yourself with Me. When you are real with Me, I am able to bring out the best in you: the very gifts I have planted in your soul." from Dear Jesus page 60 But the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world. 1 John 4:4
