IN KIND DONATIONS
We are so grateful for Fellowship Bible Chapel in Sunbury, Ohio. This is the second time that this church has organized a donation drive to benefit God's Hygiene Help Center. They collected and donated the most requested hygiene items: laundry detergent, toilet paper, and paper towels. Thank you Bill for delivering the huge quantity of hygiene items shown below. We are so grateful and so many families are affected in such a good loving way. God bless you all. God is sure smiling.
If your business, club or organization would like help organizing a donation drive, our volunteers are glad to help. Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
God, thank You for caring for the needs of Your people. You give me everything I need--everything I have is Yours. So please use me and what I have to fulfill the needs of others. Even when it feels hard to be generous, please help me to be willing to give my time, money and possessions for the good of others. In Jesus' name. Amen. YouVersion Bible app prayer
GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of radical generosity. GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Since then, it has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
Join the movement and give – each Tuesday and every day – whether it’s some of your time, a donation, or the power of your voice in your local community.
It’s a simple idea: whether it’s making someone smile, helping a neighbor or stranger out, showing up for an issue or people we care about, or giving some of what we have to those who need our help, every act of generosity counts and everyone has something to contribute toward building the better world we all want to live in.
Some employers such as Chase will double or triple your donation on GivingTuesday. Would you please consider checking with your organization and making a donation on Tuesday, November 28. You may make a donation to God's Hygiene for GivingTuesday here.
Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. Galatians 6:10
UA GIRLS GOLF TEAM
Tina Husted, the Ohio Lt. Governor's wife is also the coach for the Upper Arlington Girls' Golf Team. Mrs. Husted invited Kathryn Farrar and Tammy to come to their home to share with the team about Tammy growing up in poverty and the need for hygiene items. The team then filled 40 bags of hygiene for other girls with toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, plus socks, energy bars, and a bottle of water. Thank you for caring and your generosity!
We must show love through actions that are sincere, not through empty words. 1 John 3:16 GW
clean start baskets
Nicole received her Clean Start Basket and was very thankful for the blessing it provided. After spending several years in Ohio Reformatory for Women (ORW), she is extremely excited about being a contributing citizen. She is currently working for the city of Columbus. Nicole thanks everyone at God’s Hygiene for their thoughtfulness.

The Lord your God is with you,
the Mighty Warrior who saves.
He will take great delight in you;
in his love he will no longer rebuke you,
but will rejoice over you with singing.” Zephaniah 3:17
Our GHHC Executive Director Kathryn Farrar has been scheduling speaking engagements for Tammy and her. On Sunday, September 24 Kathryn Farrar and Tammy Jewell spoke to the small congregation at North Baptist Church on Charleston Avenue in Clintonville. In October they will share with the Clintonville Rotary Club. If your organization, small group or church would like to hear Tammy's story and how we serve our community with needed hygiene and dignity, please email email@example.com
NEW HYGIENE ITEM
Our new volunteer Cindy Lach visited her dermatologist for a body itch. The doctor looked at her hand and said first we have to take this off. It was an eye opening experience for Cindy and wants to caution everybody else to see your dermatologist and take care when you go out in the sun year around. Cindy suggested to add sunscreen to our inventory of hygiene items. Our Board gladly accepted her suggestion and now it will be one of six items available each month for our clients to choose to receive.
tree of life fall festival
God's Hygiene Help Center had the honor of partnering with the Tree of Life campus in Dublin on September 29 for their Fall Family Fun Night. The students and their families helped to fill our GHHC van with much needed hygiene to serve the Linden community. The generosity of Tree of Life will touch the lives of many as they donated 219 items, along with monetary donations. Thank you!
All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God.

helping the homeless
This man visited God's Hygiene Help Center this week. Tammy recognized him because he frequented the Blessing Box on Howey Road and was always very polite. He shared with Tammy that he had been in an auto accident two months ago, felt confused, lost and was having a difficult time. She was able to share resources where to get assistance for treatment as well as the food pantries close by. Someone had donated a sleeping bag which she game to him along with some basic hygiene items. Most important he wanted prayer and Tammy was able to pray with him.
How gracious he will be when you cry for help! As soon as he hears, he will answer you.
