![]() GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of radical generosity. GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Since then, it has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. Join the movement and give – each Tuesday and every day – whether it’s some of your time, a donation, or the power of your voice in your local community. It’s a simple idea: whether it’s making someone smile, helping a neighbor or stranger out, showing up for an issue or people we care about, or giving some of what we have to those who need our help, every act of generosity counts and everyone has something to contribute toward building the better world we all want to live in. Some employers such as Chase will double or triple your donation on GivingTuesday. Would you please consider checking with your organization and making a donation on Tuesday, November 28. You may make a donation to God's Hygiene for GivingTuesday here. Thank you! Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. Mrs. Husted invited Kathryn Farrar and Tammy to come to their home to share with the team about Tammy growing up in poverty and the need for hygiene items. The team then filled 40 bags of hygiene for other girls with toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, plus socks, energy bars, and a bottle of water. Thank you for caring and your generosity! We must show love through actions that are sincere, not through empty words. 1 John 3:16 GW clean start baskets![]() Nicole received her Clean Start Basket and was very thankful for the blessing it provided. The doctor looked at her hand and said first we have to take this off. It was an eye opening experience for Cindy and wants to caution everybody else to see your dermatologist and take care when you go out in the sun year around. Cindy suggested to add sunscreen to our inventory of hygiene items. Our Board gladly accepted her suggestion and now it will be one of six items available each month for our clients to choose to receive. tree of life fall festival![]() God's Hygiene Help Center had the honor of partnering with the Tree of Life campus in Dublin on September 29 for their Fall Family Fun Night. Tammy recognized him because he frequented the Blessing Box on Howey Road and was always very polite. He shared with Tammy that he had been in an auto accident two months ago, felt confused, lost and was having a difficult time. She was able to share resources where to get assistance for treatment as well as the food pantries close by. Someone had donated a sleeping bag which she game to him along with some basic hygiene items. Most important he wanted prayer and Tammy was able to pray with him. How gracious he will be when you cry for help! As soon as he hears, he will answer you. Isaiah 30:19 b thank you to our north linden liaison |
